The show will be held Friday - Sunday, September 22nd - 24th, 2023
Bigger and better than ever!
The show will feature:
✓ Minerals, gems & hand-crafted jewelry offered for sale by 35+ vendors from the Shenandoah Valley & beyond (Pro tip - Get your Christmas shopping done early!). Scroll down for the list of vendors.✓ A ‘treasure hunt’ for the wee folks - let the kids hunt for actual gem materials! (Ages 6 & under only, please; Saturday & Sunday only)
This year, the youngsters might find:

- Other surprises??? (Might be an arrowhead or two…)
✓ BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR! Gem mining using a sluice to discover gem materials in ‘pay dirt’ (Ages 7 - 14 only, please, Saturday & Sunday only)
✓ A cabochon-making display/discussion area - see how you can turn rocks that interest you into polished stones
✓ A wire-wrapping demonstration area - once you have some rocks and can do lapidary with them, this comes next!
✓ Meet The Friends of Mineralogy Virginia Chapter - a new resource for you to engage to further your study & enjoyment of Virginia minerals and those of the rest of the world
✓ Door prizes contributed by our vendors & members drawn for hourly (Must be present to win)

Show hours- Friday 9/22/23: 2 pm - 6 pm
- Saturday 9/23/23: 10 am - 6 pm
- Sunday 9/24/23: 11 am - 5 pm

Admission is $5.00 for Adults ❖ $3.00 for Students & SeniorsChildren age twelve & under & Scouts/Military in uniform admitted FREE
Tickets are Cash ONLY, please! Tickets are available at the door and are good for all three days of the show.
Pet owners please note: We can only allow trained service animals in the show venue. A lot of the merchandise is fragile and easily knocked off tables by wagging tails, for example. Please come and enjoy the show, but arrange for your pet(s) to be safe at home.
